Signature Framework

Design beyond what you see.

Every great celebration creates a feeling. The Signature 5 Senses Planning Method gives Reinvented Events a framework for intentionally shaping that feeling—so your event is experienced, not only photographed.

01Sight

What guests notice before a single word is spoken.

Sight shapes first impressions and lasting memory. Lighting, florals, color, composition, signage, tablescapes, and visual hierarchy work together to transform a venue into a place that feels intentional and complete.

02Sound

The invisible element that controls the energy of a room.

Sound directs how a celebration moves. Ceremony music, cocktail atmosphere, dinner soundscape, dance-floor energy, announcements, and acoustic considerations create pacing that feels natural rather than staged.

  • Cocktail atmosphere
  • Dinner soundscape

03Scent

Subtle cues that deepen presence and memory.

Scent is considered thoughtfully and with restraint. Florals, greenery, candles, food, seasonal associations, and the venue's natural environment can quietly reinforce the mood—without competing for attention.

  • Florals and greenery
  • Candles and ambient warmth
  • Seasonal associations
  • Food aromas as hospitality
  • Venue environment
  • Intentional sensory cohesion

04Taste

Hospitality expressed through every course and pour.

Taste is hospitality made tangible. Menus, cocktails, desserts, presentation, timing, and guest needs are planned so the meal feels like part of the story—not an interruption to it.

  • Menu development
  • Cocktails and beverages
  • Desserts and late-night bites
  • Presentation and plating
  • Service timing
  • Guest dietary hospitality

05Touch

The textures and comforts that make presence feel natural.

Touch is often overlooked and always felt. Linens, seating, stationery, tableware, temperature, materials, and physical comfort shape whether guests feel at ease—or simply look at a beautiful room.

  • Linens and fabric
  • Seating comfort
  • Stationery and paper goods
  • Tableware and materials
  • Temperature and physical ease
  • Interaction with the environment

Method Origin

A personal understanding of sensory experience.

Jessica's personal experience led her to learn more about the way sensory environments influence comfort, emotion, and memory. Following her daughter's autism diagnosis, she began studying how sensory input shapes how people feel in a space.

That understanding changed the way she approached events. Rather than designing solely around how a celebration photographs, she began designing around how guests experience it—through sight, sound, scent, taste, and touch.

That perspective eventually developed into Reinvented Events' Signature 5 Senses Planning Method: a respectful, practical framework for creating celebrations that feel intentional, immersive, and memorable.
